Happy Book Birthday!

Little One is a lovely story that speaks to the power of parental love.  When spring arrives, Big Bear and Little One leave their den to explore the world.  Together, Big Bear and her young cub eat, swim, fish, and play.  As the seasons change, Little One grows more confident, until winter arrives again and it’s time to go back home.  The reader can just envision the cycle starting all over again.

I love how the black and white illustrations really showcase the text.  This is a beautiful read aloud for young children.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from the publisher for review.
